Key-locking inserts - Heavy duty / Light duty series

Key-locking inserts, available in stainless steel or zinc-plated hardened steel, are one-piece metal inserts featuring pre-assembled locking keys. They are designed to create high-strength threads or to permanently repair damaged threads in light alloys, steel, or cast iron.

Their unique design ensures a permanent anti-rotation lock and total stability against vibrations by driving the keys into the surrounding base material.

Advantages of Key-locking inserts:

  • Absolute anti-rotation security: the keys physically lock the insert into place.
  • Extreme resistance: excellent pull-out strength and high torque-out resistance.
  • Simplified installation: uses standard taps and drills for preparation.
  • Long-lasting protection: eliminates thread wear, even with frequent assembly and disassembly.
  • Reliable repair: restores stripped threads to a strength superior to the original
