Talk to usThanks to our tribofinishing process, each part benefits from a durable and reliable finish, ready for immediate use. This is an essential step in obtaining perfectly smooth, uniform, and burr-free metal parts.

Tribofinishing is an essential step in the industrial manufacturing process, generally occurring after parts have been ground. This technique uses tribofinishing machines to deburr, polish, and round the sharp edges of metal parts.
The advantages of tribofinishing include:

At Gardette Industries, tribofinishing is based on two main technologies, chosen according to the nature of the parts and the desired level of finish:
Vibratory tribofinishing with vibratory bowls
Centrifugal tribofinishing with rotating bottoms
Centrifugal finishing with rotating drums now benefits from a new machine offering superior performance for processing metal parts:
After tribofinishing, the parts have a polished surface. Production can include standard, ready-to-use parts, such as taper key with gib head. But also parts made to order, tailored to specific customer requirements.

At Gardette Industries, every stage of production is guided by strict quality standards. From the receipt of raw materials to delivery, we guarantee reliable, high-performance products that meet the highest requirements.
From raw materials to manufactured products: absolute precision

By integrating tribofinishing into the manufacturing process, it is possible to standardize the quality of parts, whether they are simple or custom-made, and to guarantee a consistent finish even for small production runs. This process not only improves the appearance of components, but also contributes to their longevity by reducing the risk of wear and tear associated with sharp edges or surface imperfections.
Tribofinishing is the final step in the manufacturing process before quality control and packaging/shipping of parts, ensuring that components are perfectly finished and ready for use.
Tribofinishing plays a key role in the manufacture of precision mechanical parts used in fields where reliability and surface quality are essential. This process guarantees compliant, high-performance, and durable components that meet the requirements of the most demanding sectors:
Tribofinishing is a collective mechanical process that allows several parts to be polished, deburred, and radiused simultaneously in a barrel or vibrating bowl, using abrasives and a vibrating or centrifugal motion. Conventional polishing, on the other hand, is often done manually or piece by piece on a belt or disc machine.
Tribofinishing therefore offers higher productivity and a more consistent finish, especially for small and medium-sized metal parts.
To achieve optimal results, several parameters are essential: the choice of abrasives, the speed of rotation or vibration, the cycle time, and the number of parts processed simultaneously. Precise adjustment of these elements allows for control over the level of polishing, deburring, and edge rounding.
After a well-adjusted tribofinishing process, the parts have a smooth, shiny, and uniform surface, without burrs or sharp edges. This treatment not only improves the aesthetic appearance but also the functional performance of the parts, in particular by reducing friction and facilitating assembly and surface treatment operations (galvanization, anodizing, etc.).
